I have no idea what you're asking but it sounds interesting. Perhaps you can illustrate?

I'm sorry:sweatdrop2:, let me say once again that I do want to know the MapPoint you can draw a path on the sea?
Like sailing distances for away day?
thanks!

Thanks so much for the explanation, sorry your original question was clear enough, but it's just something MapPoint doesn't do. MapPoint only does vehicle routing and does include ferries, but nothing specifically for boats which can be "free-range".

My parents did a boat trip almost 10 years ago and I remember looking into this for them. If my memory serves, MapSource is a great company offers all sorts of maps and software for boating. Also, I know Garmin has moved heavily into the boating GPS market as the giants (well I mean Google) have made all road navigation stuff free on their smart-phones. So the traditional GPS players have moved into more niche markets like boating.

So I'd recommend looking into products and services from MapSource and Garmin.

Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes!

That it can draw fishing areas?

Thank you for your prompt reply.
Have a good day.

I think MapPoint NA are EU are totally inappropriate for fishing uses. Except for straight line distances between known geographical points on land, MP is not going to help you. (?)

I take that back, if you want to demark territories on the sea using MP, it can definitely be done using the drawing tools. ?
