Mappoint Run-Time Licensing Available??

Hi, I am developing an application in VB6 which includes extensive mapping via the Mappoint OCX. I am sent running around in circles by Microsoft and each time I talk to someone, I am given a different answer. Are there any run-time only files for mappoint that I can include with my application or am I out of luck in which the customer has to have mappoint installed on his computer. Thanks.

They do each need a license of MapPoint. For MapPoint 2002 you could get them in 10-packs through the PIP program for about $140 each I think. For a definitive answer, check with MS :? Try this e-mail address maplic@microsoft.com
