Hi All,

How might I add more than one route on the same MapPoint 2011 map?

I've got quite a few clients to visit in Mid-Atlantic area and hope to plot a few routes for comparison and review ... and maybe even shift a destination off one route and add it to another route.

Thank you very much for any help!

Technically you can only have one "Route" object on the map at a time, but it's fairly easy to manage different datasets as routes.

Import two or more sets of routes and they appear on the legend as separate datasets. If you right-click on the dataset in the Legend, you can select Add Pushpins As Stops or something like that and automatically create a route from the dataset.

After you are done working with that route, you can clear it and go to the next dataset in the Legend and select Add Pushpins As Stops, etc.

If you right click on an individual Pushpin on the map, you can go to Properties and change which dataset it belongs to.

hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

you can download (http://profit100.eu/download/ic-business-tools.html) a free version.
Or read the helpfile (http://www.wh-rm.mappoint-tools.info) first.

Based upon your responses, I spent a few productive hours becoming fairly proficient at Route Planner and have good understanding of my options. Your help will improve my work very much. Thank you both so much!
