Need help with map scrolling arrows please!

In my VB application, my map doesn't get those automatic scrolling arrows to move the map up/down/left/right when you go to the edge of the screen. I have resorted to using the "hand" to drag the map around, but these arrows would be a great help. Please advise if there is a way to turn these on.

Have you tried setting the objMap.ActiveMap.AllowEdgePan = True property?

My guess is you're missing that part.
