Exporting list of streets

I am attempting to export a list of streets (idealy street name and lat/long) within a defined area. I guess I am missing something simple, but I have only managed to export a list of pushpins. Is a list of strees possible?
Is it possible to directl access the mappoint databases?
I am using VB5Pro.
My appologies if I am asking a stupidly basic question, but the MS help files set a whole new standard of user-hostility!

hehe. Yeah, you're right it is not possible to export a list of streets.

Something you might try is using the reverse geocoding techniques (see the articles section) but it would take a bit of programming.
