Hello,

Is there a way to increase the size of the pushpin balloon to show more values? Currently, I am mapping customer data that has the usual name, address, city, state, zipcode, etc. When I right-click a pushpin and select "Show Information", I have to click inside the balloon window and navigate my cursor down to view all of the balloon contents. I have eliminated and reordered the fields shown in the balloon and I am still having to click inside the window and navigate down to see everything.

Thanks,
Matt

Maybe you can share a screenshot?

You know you can right-click on the layer in the legend and set which fields are visible in the balloon?

This can also be done programmatically via a macro.

My problem is that there are still too many fields to squeeze inside the balloon. I am mapping customer data based on Geo-codes and inside of the balloon, I have Customer #, Address, City, St, Zip, Contact Name, Phone, etc. The balloon will show the Customer #, Longitude & Latitude, and then 11 fields after that. If you want to see anymore then you have to click inside the balloon and then move your cursor down to see the fields at the bottom. I would like to know if there is a way to set the balloon to adjust its size so I can see all the fields at once. The balloon doesn't even have a scroll bar. Again, clicking inside the balloon and then clicking the down arrow repeatedly on the keyboard until I get to the bottom of the field list just seems inefficient. My users are using this when on the phone with customers and I would like to save as much time as possible. We have rearranged the data that gets imported so that the most important fields show up first and also have eliminated fields that are less important.

I think this is plainly a limitation of MapPoint, I'm not sure what you can do.

Maybe set up multiple PTM files with different information at the top? You can have multiple copies of MapPoint open at the same time.
