hello, i am new to this forum and im here to ask for help.
ok so to start i am delivery truck driver, my routes have about 70 stops a day. i am currently using mappoint 2010 but i am having trouble fixing my route the way i want it to. i add all my stops through a spreadsheet, then i highlight them all and add the pushpins as stops. so when i put a start and and end then optimize the route it puts them in certain order, but i dont always like the order it puts them in, so i find it real hard to modify the stops using the route planner up and down icons. is there any way i can select a push pin and assign it a certain stop number without it getting "optimized" because every time i try to modify the pushpins it auto adjusts them to however it wants. sorry if it doesnt make sense too well. thanks in advance

I don't think this is the behavior I have seen. Make sure that you no longer click the Optimize button after you have made your manual modifications, use the Get directions button instead.
