I have 5 pushpin sets and I want to be able to turn them on and off individually so that I can compare locations eg. compare set 2 and 5 and then be able to hide set 2 and turn on set 4. It's possible with the 'show or hide places' but don't see how you get it to work for your own pushpin sets. Thanks in advance..........

From the dataset pulldown menu in Pushpin Tool choose Hide Dataset (make sure the dataset is selected on the mail Pushpin Tool screen)

To unhide, select unhide/change symbol from the same pulldown menu.

There is a forum specifically for the pushpin tool here:

Old thread here but it looks like this still works the same way.

Why must the symbol be chosen again when unhiding the dataset's pushpins? This makes the process very cumbersome as you have to search for the correct symbol each time you unhide. It would be much better to have a "Unhide" option without having to reselect the same symbol.

Thanks,
Jason

Hello everyone,

I just joined MAPForum. I have a question. How can I accurately tell whether the address is 5 miles away from a coastline of Texas

Thank you all:walkman::clap:

Hi! and welcome to the site! I hope you find it useful. More and more people who use MapPoint are partcipating on here, it's great.

I'd recommend to post this in a new thread as it's unrelated to the Pushpin Tool --
