Basically it is

LAT: 53° N
LON: 8° W

If that's not what you want, you have to learn to express yourself better, because this is exactly what you've asked for. Probably there is a town on that Position but you can't say a LAT/LON without having an exact point. It's not divided by countries...

Why are you being difficult? Do you really expect to get ONE lat/long point for an entire country??? They're trying to help, so calm down!!!

Long/lat of Dublin is 53.12' North and 6.6' west.

You need a personality transplant .
         HA HA HA HA HA HA

You cannot get a long/lat point for the whole of Ireland you need to pick an exact place and thats the long/lat point otherwise you would be TALKING STUPID GIBBERISH NUMBERS AND YOU WOULD'NT MAKE ANY SENSE WHICH OF COURSE YOU ARENT ALREADY BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT. :D

Have a look at an atlas and see where the lines go - where is the Greenwich Meridian (0deg longitude), where is the equator? Where is London?
About what distance is represented by 1degree longitude?

I can tell you now without looking at a map that Dublin is NOT 49N and 6E.

Dublin is west of London last time I looked. Greenwich in east London is on the Greenwich Meridian (what a coincidence :) ). Therefore Dublin's longitude is West not East.

London is about 51deg North. Dublin is north of London.
Leeds is about 54deg North (I grew up there, sorry don't have the exact figure handy). Dublin is south of Leeds.
Therefore Dublin must be between 51deg and 54deg north.
