Routing routine

Hello,
I am looking for a software which can take a data file containing the list of addresses and then generate an optimal route for me.

Daily I have to go on field audits in a particular area in my county and I select a list of addresses that I need to visit. I can prepare a datafile of these addresses.

Can mappoint take up this datafile and generate an optimal route for my daily routine like this.

Please advise if I can go ahead and buy this software.

MapPoint 2004 can do that with ease.

I am a sweeping company which has routes which change daily and I am interested in a routing routine. We have all the data in a database by zone, by zip code, by address. Any software help appreciated.
