Automap - 1997 Version

I apologize if this question has been asked previously. Our marketing department has been using Automap Streets Plus 1997 Version for years now and has a large number of pushpins. We've recently purchased Mappoint 2002 as a replacement. I've tried using the pushpin converter tool offered by Microsoft but I haven't much luck getting to work since it requires a 1998 version.

Is there anyway that I can import the Automap 1997 version pushpins into Mappoint 2002?

I don't know.. can you get a copy of Automap 98, say off of eBay? Maybe that will accept the Automap 97 pushpins.

Otherwise, if you can copy out all the lat/lon locations and put them in an Excel file, that should work.. maybe a job for an intern.

I was thinking the same thing. I've been looking at the data file for Automap and I may be able to extract the data from there.
