Microsoft Support in the UK

As a newbie to mappoint, I had a major query with maping data. Called Microsoft and discovered I knew more than the tech support line. Is this a comon occurance or have other people experinced this.

If so, does anybody have any suggestions re telephone support in the UK. Willing to pay for the service if its good.

In the U.S. I know there's a support team that's received some MapPoint training east of Seattle (Portland?).

In general I think they outsource phone support, and if the staff is supporting a number of products, support for MapPoint may be limited to just trying to look stuff up for you in the knowledge base.

Try searching on MS's MapPoint product page, you should find a list of MapPoint "partners" some of whom should be in the UK and who could probably provide ad hoc training / support. One that comes to mind is
