customized push pins

We have a list of 500 properties that we are trying to load into mappoint. Our properties are numbered from 1 to 500. We would like to have the property number appear on the map instead of one of the pushpins, dots etc. Is this possible?

I didn't want to have to make a separate pushpin for each site. We have changed our plan to using the number as the "name". Does the "Show name" command have to be done for each individual pushpin, or is there a way we can highlight an area and select "Show name" for all of them at one time?
