I've been told that it is possible to geocode in Manifold Pro from Microsoft Mappoint.

Has anyone done this? if so how easy is it to get the packages to talk?

Thanks

Check in the Manifold forum (if no one else, Dmitri will respond :-) I haven't seen any discussion in here regarding linking up Manifold and MapPoint, but I'm sure it's easier than linking MapInfo or ArcView and MapPoint and/or cheaper than using the Map-In-A-Box to tie those products into MapPoint.

Note that's it's not necessary to use Manifold (or Map-In-A-Box) to do geocoding with MapPoint, you can do it for free with Gilles unsupported Pins2File or CalcPos routine if you have some programming skills ( there are several utilities and articles that have links for geocoding to Excel and Access on this site) or the $75 Pushpin Tool, I'm sure there are more.

HTH,
Eric
