MapPoint ??

Can anybody tell me what is MapPoint ?
How to start working with this? I am supposed to use MapPoint in my project for getting Distributor list. Anybody having sample code or guidelines, pls tell me. :roll:

Do you have the trial version? A lot of things can be done without coding, but you can start with samples on this site and in the MapPoint 2002 for Dummies book as well as MSDN and the Help File.
