I'm new to this..I've created a map using street and trips 2003 of a number of locations (addresses) and I would like to merge this map with another saved map so that I can see the overlap of these addresses. Can I do this and if so how. When I try to export or import it only allows me a few formatted options. :?:

Did you get a reply to this question. I have the very same question.

Perhaps not for the timid, but it's possible to read/write directly to the binary .est format using the code mentioned in this newsletter -

Otherwise, no.. merging maps is not a feature of the software.

That "Pushpin Tool" that is mentioned on here sometimes would probably work if you could just move all your pushpins from one map to the other. I think it costs $75 though..

It is not a feature of the Pushpin Tool to merge maps within MapPoint, but you could export out the coordinates of one or the other map and re-import to perhaps accomplish it.

Yes, that is what I was thinking...you could just move all your pushpins from numerous maps onto onto one map, which would merge the maps to that extent. But I don't know that would affect any Pushpin datasets that you had made or any other marks on the map that you couldn't transfer that easily.
