Many of the maps in MapPoint 2004 are over three years old. I am aware of locations where new roads in major metropolitan areas were put in 3 years ago and MapPoint 2004 still hasn't updated them.
Meanwhile, MapQuest and Thomas Brothers interactive maps have them updated. In addition many of the businesses have these items mapped via their website with another mapping product.
It seems that MapPoint puts a great deal of energy into bells and whistles while the core reason for the product to exist is neglected.
Suggest the ability to update the product, or obtain an updated CD when new roads become available. Also the ability for users to report new roads. I know this sounds cumbersome, but the competitors seem to have found a way to keep the latest roads updated.
