I need to show largest font size for readability in a helicopter. After shutdown mappoint always reverts to "smaller" size.. can anyone tell me how I can retain the settings? The same for the GPS tracking function.

That's really cool. I don't know about the GPS settings, but for the Font -- change the default map, this is found in the program files directory under Templates. For the NA version it's called "New North American Map.ptt". This might also work for the GPS settings.
