View Full Version : How not to map a zero value

Hello, I'm importing a set of values by zip code from Excel and some of those values are 0 (zero). The problem is that MapPoint is including these zeros in the map and the zip code areas are shaded white and I want them to be shaded grey like the other zip codes where there was no data imported for them (without having to use a logarithmic scale).

I tried to fix this in Excel by using a null value "" in place of the zeros, but this caused a problem with mapping them and I would get an error message that said "The data set has more than 8 unique data ranges."

Is there a way to tell MapPoint not to plot data if its value is zero?

Couldn't you just sort and delete those rows? But I guess you are not wanting to do that.

If you can zip and post some sample data I can play with it and let you know what I come up with.
