Associate shapes with pin

We are currently in the process of creating a map that contains a number of pushpins (stores) and around each pushpin a shape (Catchment area) is there a way to associate each shape with its pushpin.

Basically I have a vb .net program that populates a list view with all of the stores and when someone clicks on the store in the list mappoint locates the store and hides all of the other stores, however I cant work out a way to hide all of the catchment areas other than the one selected.

Any ideas would be really appricited

You loop thru all pushpins and if it is not the selected item set the pushpin to a blank custom symbol. Something like that......

Sorry I dont think i explained myself very well,

I have already worked out how to hide the pins (I've done as you suggested) what I would now like to do is work out how to hide the shapes around each pin

I don't think there is an easy way to hide a shape. I know this has been talked about here before. Removing/re-Adding the shape may be an answer?

Walt Cygan wrote a GIS Exporter for MapPoint that may help you if you want to export/import shape as a solution. download the "MapInfoCreator.cls" and have a look.
