Newbie question - Mapping/displaying frequency of events

Hi, new to MP2K and to this forum. I would like to export data from an Excel spreadsheet that shows the number of service incidents for computer assets at multiple addresses - typically, I'm looking to count the number of service incidents at multiple addresses within a large institution, such as a University campus or campuses. It is possible that the same asset number is serviced multiple times within a given time period, and it is also likely that multiple assets at a given address will be serviced. Is there an easy way to show a stacked chart or graph of frequency superimposed on a map of said region? (Pushpins are kind of messy when dealing with hundreds or thousands of incidents.) Also, will I have to summarize the data in Excel (pivot, for instance) prior to doing the import/link, or will MP2K handle the counting for me? Thanks.

You might try using a Shaded Circle Map (Import your data and then it will ask you what type of map to make). With that, you could use the circle color to represent the frequency and use the actual number as a label.
