objDataSet = Nothing

Am working through MapPoint for Dummies. Cannot get samples provided with book on CD that import data from excel sheet to compile: get error -2147221164(80040154) "Class not registered", and holding cursor over objDataSet in "Set objDataSet = objMap.DataSets.LinkData(FilePathAndName, "ID", , geoCountryUnitedStates, , geoImportExcelSheet)" in Click_Event code, get "objDataSet = Nothing". Have tried writing own code in addition to samples from book with same results. Other samples work ok, just can't import or link to Excel DataSet. Am using MapPoint 2004.

The code to import from excel works with the trial MapPoint 2002 shipped with the book, but will not work with MapPoint 2004.
