This export thing is driving me nuts--it seems the whole point of this program is to associate data points with the territories you create but I can't export them back to Excel. Microsoft support says they should be exported when I follow the steps in the instructions.

Is it possible this is b/c I am using a trial version?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have experienced the same frustration. I needed to associate several thousand lat/long positions with its ZIP Code and eventually ended up sending the data out-of-house to have the zip code field populated. This is a huge shortcoming of MapPoint. I have the full, 2004 version.

There are latitude & longitude lists for zip code centroids available free on the web. Zip Code Centroids are the approximate geographic center of the zip code. Using Excel's VLookup function you can append the latitudes & longitudes to the zip codes in your location list.
