Pocket Streets - help!

I am using MapPoint 2004 to create pocket PC maps for a handheld device, unfortunately when I copy them across they fail to open. I have downloaded Pocket Streets maps off the Microsoft website and when I copy these across to my handheld device they open fine.

Any ideas why I can't create my own Pocket maps that actually open??

Are you copying the Mappoint saved map (*.ptm) ? That would not work. If so, Choose File | Export Map for Pocket Streets. Another thing could be that they are too big. Try making the map smaller...

I am having the same problem. I am definatly exporting the map for pocket pc but am finding files over a couple of hundred Kb are casung the Pocket PC to hang.

Any ideas..?

Still no joy here, am definately exporting to pockets streets. Just hangs :(
