Help installing downloaded Copy of MP NA 2004

I downloaded a copy of MapPoint North America 2004 from MSDNAA. When I try to install the first cd, I get an error message as follows:

"You cannot install MP NA 2004 over a network unless you first perform an
administrative installation."

I looked up admin install, but I could not relate installing MP NA 2004 and
admin installation. I am trying to install it on a Win XP Pro SP2 and not
over a network.

If you've encountered the error, or know how to resolve it, please let me
know.
