Getting pushpins in front of lines?

I'm using the mappoint drawing object in .NET. I've got several datasets of pushpins with a different shape for each dataset. I then draw connecting lines. The problem is that the pushpins are now impossible to select because the line end points are on the pushpin. Clicking anywhere on the pushpin shape selects only the line. I've put the line zorder to the very back, but nothing changed. I can find no way to set the zorder of pushpins.

Any ideas?

So the solution is to set the line ZOrder to geoSendBehindRoads. Even though I'm not showing roads, this is the only way to get the pushpins on top of the lines. Even setting the line zorder to geoSendToBack doesn't do the trick, as this is only relative to other shapes (and Pushpins ain't shapes).
