Working with demographic data via code

Hello all,
Is it possible to access the mappoint demographic data programmatically? I can load the data onto a map using GetDemographics and DisplayDataMap, but I can't figure out how to actually query a value from that dataset.

What I'm looking for is the ability to get population for a given zip code or for any zipcode contained in a circle around a point. I'm looking at competitiveness of a set of service organizations between one another.

Any assistance or resources on this sort of thing that you can point me to would be a great help!

Has anyone ever tried this at all? Successfully or not?

I've run out of directions to pursue on this item. If anyone has a reference or book that they could point me to with some ideas of how I might be able to move ahead, I'd appreciate it.

:x I have tried and tried.. if I don't figure it out within the Evaluation, Microsoft loses a sale. Not that my $300 is going to matter much, but I imagine a lot of developers would love this information and use their product more.
