Hi everyone,

I would like to create area coverages (type: shadow area) with MapPoint Europe 2011 in the following countries: Czech Republic, Romania, Estonia, Poland, Latvia....So, eastern countries in Europe.
I have the postal codes, but I don't think MapPoint 2011 has the capability to do it for countries above...

But I could have the longitude and latitude for all the postal codes in each country.
So, do you know a way with MapPoint or with an another software to create maps (the countries) with the longitude and latitude ?

Then I could do a link between the longitude and latitude and the postal codes ?

Thank you,

Kind regards,

Fantomette

MapPoint will plot any longitude, latitude coordinate although it will lower the resolution for areas not covered - eg. the North American edition would lower the resolution for all of those countries.

Considering MapPoint will only be for sale for another month, I would suggest you move to a new product. Eg. Caliper's Maptitude which has a wider range of countries supported, and more up to date data.

Hi

Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately, according to what I saw, Caliper's Maptitude, doesn't have the full addresses (postal codes) of the countries (Latvia, Romania, CZ, Lithuania...) that I am working on.

It is why I was looking for a software tool which would be able to create a map of these countries with the longitude and latitude of all the postal codes.

But i think it is a bit difficult !

Thank you anyway

Have a nice day
