hello evrybody;
my problem is that I can't find with my visual studio 2003 the Mappoint com library . I think normaly it must exist in the Add Reference dialog window but I dont find it :?:
please help me I m a debutante student :oops:

Hi,
Do you have MapPoint 2004 installed on the machine? I think you're right, it should be there.. see the Add Reference instructions with Visual Studio .NET at the top of this article:

HI,
thanks for your help, but i thinks that my problem is to Install the new Microsoft MapPoint Location Server Management API (version 1.0) assemblies on my computer. Specifically, I need the following assemblies:
Microsoft.MapPoint.LocationServer.Types.dll—Contai ns the MapPoint Location Server data types.
Microsoft.MapPoint.LocationServer.Management.dll—C ontains classes that provide methods for managing MapPoint Location Server.
please help me to finds this assemblies :oops:

There's a few different products with MapPoint in the name:
- MapPoint 2004
- MapPoint Web Service
- MapPoint Location Server
First identify which is most appropriate for what you want to do...

I read about the three mappoint products and now I can say that I need the mappiont web service for develop my application. Please, can you told me what I need for developing with this mappoint :oops:
