how to avoid "boulevard peripherique" in itinerary

Hi,

In Paris- France, I want to avoid the "boulevard périphérique" and include streets inside Paris when Mappoint is calculating an itinerary for "Mobylettes".
The Mobylettes cannot take that peripheral roads.


I tried this, but I have always the same itinerary including "Boulevard peripherique".

Any Ideas to help me?

You should be able to use the polygon route-exclusion ability.
Basically, you create shape object(s) and tell MapPoint to avoid routes that go through these shapes.

Look at the documentation for the Shape object, and set the Avoided property accordingly.

You should be able to set the shapes to be invisible if you want an invisible barrier.

I think it will be very complicated for me to add shapes all around Paris,
create a thousands of junctions to avoid the "Boulevard Périphérique".
That meens also that all the itineraries going from or coming to Paris and crossing the Peripherique will be avoided.

Is there a solution telling Mappoint to continue searching other itineraries each time "Boulevard Périphérique" appears in one of the directions calculated.

- To sell mobylettes and buy cars
- Or allow mobylettes to do their delivery usig the periphérique, and I will I will pay the fine !!

I thought this morning that I was going to have the solution

Before using Mappoint, I had a good solution for that with Map and Guide.
But I think Mappoint is great in many other subjects.
