Eastern Europe and AutoRoute

Can it really be possible that Microsoft REMOVED all of the maps for Eastern Europe in their latest versions of AutoRoute?? Isn't an update supposed to GROW?
Until yesterday, I have been using AutoRoute 2001, which will give you road maps from Ireland to the southeast coast of Azerbaijan on the Caspian Sea if you'd like. Now I've got Autoroute 2004, and I can only map to the eastern boarder of Austria!
Does anyone know if:
A - this program can be patched to add other countries
or
B - AutoRoute 2005 contains all of the countries that were in 2001?
your feedback is much appreciated!

No and No...

for MapPoint the eastern European country maps (from AND mapping) were dropped between the 2002 and 2004 versions.. I am not sure if AutoRoute 2003 had these maps, but I'm sure AutoRoute 2004 did not.

Yes, it's called MapPoint 2002 (EU). Try eBay or other market for older/used software.
