How do I find out if MapPoint is installed and also what version (i.e. 2002,2004).

Can you please choos appropriate subject ? Honderds of people will not answer if they dont know what you mean in the subject.

try a execption block in creation of the component. If exceotion raise then Mappoint is not installed
