MapPoint Question-

I need to create localized maps usually only covering 1-2 states. These maps are being created to show the various locations that a particular business may have in the area. (I need symbols to represent the numerous locations in the area for that particular business.)

Is MapPoint the software that I'm looking for, and if not, does anyone have any suggestions on what I could use?

Yes you can use pushpins to show all the locations. You can use internal symbols or you can show your own bitmaps to show all the locations.

meaning as far as I understeand your question then yes mappoint is the way to go :)
