Create a map that lists the number (a count) of customers

Create a map that lists the number (a count) of customers by 3 digit zip.

I have a data listing 3 digit Zip in colunn 1 AND Number of customers in column 2.

I need to import into mappoint so I can see the 3 digit zip on the map and just the number of customers in that zip. How do I do this?

This should be a pretty straight forward solution assuming you know how to import data into MapPoint. The three digit zip code will be recognized as a valid geographic field. Once you import the data you can display your count as you wish. I suppose it would look best using shaded area. If you have 8 or less records you could display them as unique values otherwise use discreet equal ranges.

I can import data but and divide map by 3 digit zip, but I cannot get the map to display the number inside of the zip area. If anyone could give me suggested steps from the data import i would really apprecite it.
