MapPoint 2005??

Does anyone know when the next release is scheduled for MapPoint? There is a lot of new housing with many new streets in our area and the MP2004 maps are very outdated.

Mappoint is a biennial released program, meaning every other year its released. So the next version will be 2006.

Previously released versions include 2000, 2002 and 2004. No 2001 or 2003.

So the question is: will the new version be released this summer or autumn or next year?

There is a vendor claiming to sell Mappoint 2005. Interesting that the graphic on the box (real real small) is 2004. At least the price is good????? Well, if they lie about the version, maybe you cant trust them on the $150.00 price either.. http://www.sagesoft.net/p-14-mappoint-2005.aspx
