Drag and Drop with mappoint

Hi, I am having some trouble triggering the events MouseMove MouseOver DragDrop and DragOver on a mappoint control embedded in a VB6 application. The control has an active map, but rather than executing any piece of code I insert, the only thing it will insist on doing is opening the import data wizard when I Drop an item on to it.

Have I missed some glaringly obvious solution? if so ... would someone please let me know what I need to do. If nothing else I must find a way to disable the import data wizard through code.

Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome.

Hi Chris,

Not sure but you can use the Form's events for this if you set the Form's KeyPreview = true; I did not tryed this..
