integrating Mappoint into my home grown application

Hello all.
I'm new to this forum and new to Mappoint.
I want to integrate Mappoint into my routing software. I need to be able to send Mappoint the street address and zipcode and have it display a map of that address.

Is there a specific version of Mappoint I need to purchase for this?
Also, do my clients need to get a copy of their own Mappoint or does it get complied into my application? What is the licensing issues with Mappoint?

The language I'm using is Visual FoxPro 8.0.

Every one of your users will need a MapPoint license.

If you can get at COM objects in your chosen language, then you should be able to use MapPoint. The MapPoint documentation is written using VB, but by using examples for other Office apps (eg. Word), it is usually possible to get it working.
