Route Scheduling Software (HELP!)

Help!

I assume MapPoint will do this but I can't seem to get it to do it correctly in a user friendly way.

Overview:
I have a service business that makes 20 to 30 stops a night using two trucks in one metropolitan area. Stops take from 10 minutes to an hour plus and some stops must be made during a certain time (say between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.)

I would like to be able to import the stops, their addresses and service times and then have the software schedule and optimize the routes. Is there a software that will do this?

Surely, this is not re-creating the wheel.

Any help would be greatly appreciationed.

Thanks

Trebor

I have developed a vehicle-routing software based on MapPoint (free). Have a look at www.free-routing.com

Did you find anything to work on your route issue? We developed a pretty effective genetic algorithm (with a few twists) for our product. We've exposed it as a web service and are considering treating it as a separate "per click" type product.
