Link Data Wizard Problem (URGENT HELP!!!)

Hello. I'm fairly new to MapPoint and I am having a map problem. My user wants a map that shows zip codes and a count of students that applied from that zip code.

When I try to link to a query, it does not show any data in the Link Data Wizard.

Why show Query, if you can't show the data on a map?

Please help!!!

Where are you querying the data from?

One thing you might try is to pre-arrange the data in excel like --


zip code count
12345 51
12346 101
12457 76
etc. etc.

Then try either import or link, it should work.
