I have a J++ web application that produces reports....

I have a J++ web application that produces reports from a SQL Server database and delivers them to the user via HTML. Can I call MapPoint (via OLE or COM?) from J++ and use it to build maps (or images of maps..JGP, GIF) that can be added to web pages? Where can I find out more about how to program this?
