Prevent user from updating pushpin's name and note text

I am currently developing an Oracle Forms application, in which MapPoint is linked as an ActiveX control.

I wonder if it is possible to protect a pushpin's label, to prevent end users from updating its name and note text.

No, but what you can do is disable the popup menu in the BeforeClick handler, and display your own.

Thanks for your answer. The problem is that the Oracle forms layer around the MapPoint ActiveX is a bit buggy and does not allow me to cancel the defalut behavior of MapPoint events...

I guess I'll have to live with it.
