Hi,
I'd like to know wether Streets and Trips is the same software like Pocket Streets? If not, which are the differences. Is there some navigation functionality like in TomTom? Can I export a map from MapPoint 2004 to a PocketPC device and use it to navigate like using TomTom?
TIA

Hi Chris,
I think here http://www.mapping-tools.com/info/mp_products/index.shtml you will find most of your questions answered.
Thank you very much for your answer. That's wired because it means there is no possibility to generate a route on the desktop pc, download it to a mobile device and use this mobile device to navigate along the route? What they (MS) may have in mind creating this product portfolio? Having a desktop PC or a notebook in the car? Is there any way to come around that, for instance integrating MapPoint routes into another really mobile navigation product? It would be okay if this needs some programming because we use MapPoints programming interfaces for our products.
Kind regards
Chris Werner

I think you can.. On the Amazon page the description says: "Use the Route Planner to view, add, delete, and rearrange destinations -- and figure out fuel costs, driving speed, and preferred routes"

Here's a review I pointed to some months back:
