Routes from Pushpins and do not show Waypoints

I am working on a custom application using the mappont control (2004). I have read the database and created pushpins, added waypoints, and displayed the route (green lines). The problem is the waypoints.

Problem:
I do not want to display the waypoints on the map, but do want to display the actual route (green lines). I have not been able to figure out how to hide (not show) the waypoints.

Is there anyway that I can actually draw the route lines on the map without displaying the waypoints? I have set the application up with a custom right click menu, and because of the waypoints I cannot right click on a pushpin to bring up the information anymore.

No I dont think so. You could copy the map to clipboard and then in your own bitmap filter out but it seems way out above my limits :(
