Mappoint newbie here- need to be able to map multiple lat/lons on a map of a predefined area, and show map w/pushpins on a webpage on our intranet- is this easily done, and with which products/technologies?

I would think you could develop a desktop application that would provide the functionality you're looking for? If for instance, there are 20 desktop, that's roughly 20 X $200 or $4,000, less I think if you research volume discounts. See http://www.mp2kmag.com/order.asp. If you can live with manually creating static maps, the desktop product should fit the bill. Anonymous 06-13-2002, 10:04 AM Thanks for the response- but the data is coming from the GPS units installed in our trucks. It needs to be near-realtime, where a click on refresh will display the latest positions. From what I can gather, Mappoint .NET fits the bill, its just way more money than is in the budget right now- looks like it's targeted toward much higher volume. Any alternatives? | ||
