MapPoint 2004 -> 2006

I am considering upgradeing to mappoint 2006 and I am wondering will files made with 2004 be opened easily in 2006???

Yes.

Like most MS-Office branded applications, it will read old file versions.
In the case of MapPoint, it will try to rematch all records/etc - the various addresses/etc databases may have changed.
