Mappoint 2006 (USA) can't find intersection addresses. Mappoint 2004 (USA) finds the same addresses. I checked Mappoint 2006 Help to see if the way an intersection find query needs to be submitted changed. But according to help it's still the same (ampersand). Is this a known bug? Can someone verify? Is there a fix or workaround? Thanks.

Hi,
recently, I answered this post that I didn't have problems with intersections.
Now I have to say that it's wrong.
Whenever I use a street name that begins with a number, it fails.
Ex: 1E Ave & 80E Rue E, Québec
Sorry for then french example.
Any clue?
You need to add a street number when the street name is a number...
1000 1E Ave & 1000 80E Rue E, Québec

Thanks Yves,
but does the street number has to exist or I can pick a random?
Or always use, like in your example, number 1000?
We can use any number.
Best pratice is to always use a number when you are looking to find an intersection.

Hi,
Maybe it can be any number, but I think it is always better to choose a number that almost always exists, eg 1.
