finding if a waypoint is in an exisiting shape

This forum has been a great help! I need to find if a given stop(waypoint) is in an existing shape on a map. There are several shapes that I can iterate through. The waypoint IS NOT A PUSHPIN or part of the dataset. Have tried the waypoint name, findresults etc. with no luck. Using VBA.
Once I find the shape connected to a waypoint i can query this shape for all the pushpins etc. This is my missing link I need to help me. Thanks

Like always there are workarounds :)
Set a pushpin on the waypoint's location, then you can do what you want and afterwards when youre done delete the pushpin.
