I have 7 territories that have been set up at County level. I would now like to set this to Postcode Districts.
If I try this in MapPoint, I have to start again - this would involve a lot of work!
What I am after is a list of the Counties MapPoint use (and there are some very unusual one's) and the postcode districts that fall into that county.
All help appreciated!

Based on UK data, the way I converted from a county file to a postcode district file was embarrassingly inelegant but you did say all help appreciated. First of all I opened the file showing the territories based on counties. Then I used the data mapping wizard to read in a data value from the in-built demographic data-base (I think it was area) and plotted these out as the same coloured small dot – these are in effect the centroid of each postcode district. I then used the freeform drawing tool to put a very rough boundary around a territory, eyeballing to make sure the dots were properly included or excluded. (it sounds laborious but is actually quite quick). I then used the resulting freeform to export the data to excel, deleted the area value and was left with all the postcode districts in that territory. I repeated this on a territory by territory basis, combined the ouput and ended up with a excel file containing every postcode district assigned to a territory. This was then fed back into Mappoint to create the new territory definitions. It took about 2 hours to sort out 9 territories.
Subsequently I put more effort into making the shape files more accurate cos I found that these were very useful in outputting info on customers, and for demographic analysis eg. linking with external census data..
By the way counties and postcode districts don’t exactly correspond in the UK so there is overlap.
Hope this helps.
