Would anyone know if ACT! (data base manager simular to Gold Mine) integrates with Mappoint. I would like to be able to click on an ACT contact and automatically put it on the map.

thanks,
Jim

Does ACT have a programming interface? If so, then this would be easy to perform.

Another way to connect the two might be through ODBC, but this would not support the "click on contact, give me a map" functionality. If ACT! supports ODBC, then you could probably do things like "map my contacts that meet criteria X"

There was somebody years ago that mentioned in the joint MP2Kmag/Directions Partner Special Issue.

Directions Magazine - Your GIS News Source (http://www.mp2kmag.com/update/mappoint.newsletter/2003-11-14/)

Look for eSite.

I don't know if they are still offering it, but I seem to remember some other mentions of it even recently although this is also just a query asking for it. e.g. --

If someone wants to write an article on ACT!/MapPoint integration I'd be happy to publish :-)
