Streets 2007 data in MapPoint 2006

Seen posts about doing this for previous versions but haven't seen anyone ask this question about S&T 2007 and MP 2006.

Have a simple program that grabs Latitudes and Longitudes from MapPoint and I'm finding that about 4% of them don't show up for whatever reason and that number would go down to about 2% if I used S&T 2007 data (based on my sampling). Since I'm working with about 100,000 records, we're potentially talking about 2,000 records that I wouldn't have to lookup manually.

Also, although I use MapPoint, I'd be grateful if anyone could point me another direction to get a solution that would match closer to 100% of everything (reason for most of the non matches are because the data ends up weighted towards new development which isn't in newer versions.)

Someone had mentioned the Streets 2007 data and MapPoint 2006 data is identical.

Have you found this is NOT the case?

In any case, you should be able to use the same steps to use S&T07 data with MP06 --

Using Autoroute Data in MapPoint (http://www.mp2kmag.com/a84--autoroute.2003.sweden.mappoint.html)

Yep, found this out shortly after I had posted. I had tried using a program to get locations in MapPoint while just typing things in Streets & Trips.

It's more tolerant of small mistakes like a wrong direction or Zip Code when you type it in making half of the problems go away.
